What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday!

Thanks to everyone for their comments last week, I appreciate you taking the time to visit.  This is my desk this week, its fairly tidy.

I went to a scrapbook crop on Friday and started a page with this photo of my son who decided to cover himself in stickers when he was younger. I thought I would try to finish it off today. I am going to add some thread through the buttons on the paper and some other bits to finish it off.

I also found this when we were at our craft village on the weekend...

It was only £19 so I had to have it! My little boy said he thought I should keep paper in the bottom and my 'pretty things' as he calls it in the top. Any other suggestions?

We are on holiday next week so I won't be able to take a photo of my desk, if I can get online I will send you one Italy instead. If not enjoy the one year anniversary challenge!

Pop over to our host Julia's blog to have a good look round everyone elses desk. I look forward to having a look around your desks today, have a great week!

Wow! That is one tidy desk. Please come over and tidy up mine. lol.
Great colors on the lo of your sun. I have a similar picture of my daughter all covered up with post-it labels in her face.

The wooden "thing" (I'm norwegian, and can't find all the right words at times) is gorgeous! Being in the summer I would perhaps consider having flowers in the top layer or seeds and my garden equipment. Having it in my room I would probably fill the top with bottles, glitters etc. But on the other hand it is so beautiful that I would carefully pick out what item is perfect enough to be placed in it. Maybe my bottles of buttons and flowers?

Your layout looks fab love the colours. But ive fallen in love with the wee wooden storage .Wow you could get some wee lilttle jars for the top (crafts ulove have some)use them for buttons, brads, flowers ect .the bottom maybe you could use for stamps. Another idea is i use a wee small box and what ever project im going to do i fill with the crafty bits i may use ie co-ordinated craft stuff to use on that project you could keep the bottom part for that when finished your project clear away ready for next .hope that gives you some ideas

ooh Tracey - your find is gorgeous - you don have some lovely pieces... I think your little man is right, although perhaps papers in the bottom wouldnt be protected enough.. how about your essential tools in the bottom, or flowers or ribbons... but you've probably got them somewhere lovely to live anyway...

shame you not around next week... half term - don't know if we will be able to go away.. we normally go camping but not sure if I would be able to just yet... any room with you??

Great LO, it's such a cute picture! I see your threads are in a pretty basket and I think that will be how I remember your stash, prettily basketed. If there is such a word. The new carrier is gorgeous.....not papers - something that stands up like your entire pen collection...to draw attention to it!

I love how tidy your desk is! Such a pretty storage unit, will you decorate it or leave it as is?

That's one darling layout. I really love the heart baskets and still want to know about that circle thingy in the background on another table. It has lots of shelves and looks like it might turn.

Because that lovely find has a handle, you could use it for a lot of things. I probably would not use it for paper, but maybe whatever pieces you are working on at the moment. Swap images, layout spreads, etc, could go in the bottom and various embellishments, tools, and such in the top. I bet whatever you use it for, it will compliment your lovely desk.

Tracey,

Thanks for letting me know these are two cupcake stands. I love them! They are so unique, very vintage, and are perfect examples of using beautiful pieces in different ways to organize your supplies. I didn't notice there were two of them until you pointed it out. Simply lovely, and thanks for taking time to return to let me know what they are. Have a great day and weekend.
