Playing with Distress Inks

Hi all, I hope that you are having a good weekend and that the weather is being kind to you! I did a bit of colouring in this week...

I have bought a few of the Rangers Distress Inks and been having a go at using them for colouring with a tree stamp that I have bought from Hero Arts.

I stamped the image on white cardstock and have distressed the edges very slightly. I have used different backing card to my main favourite of white and added some bling to the middle of the flowers. I quite like the way they have turned out so of course I am now going to have to buy more colours, always an excuse eh?

We went shopping yesterday and I managed to get to one of my very favourite shops, Paperchase and bought this fabric journal

Isn't it cute! Trouble is there was another really nice one there so I had to buy that too!

Now if only I was talented enough to make my own!

Have a great week and let me know what you have been upto this weekend!

Wow Tracey - the tree is absolutely stunning - I love what you have done and the colours you have used in the card... I noticed you were working on it the other day when I visited your desk.

Is this another stamp i'm going to have to buy???!!! LOL

A job well done.
