The Perfect Partner for the Smash Book

This is my new partner in crime for Smash Booking, the Polariod Pogo.

Its small, portable, runs on Zink Technology (Zero Ink so no cartridges), runs off Li-ion rechargebale batteries and prints sticky back photos in 60 Seconds that are dry to touch and waterproof as soon as they come out!

If you have an android phone you can print direct to the printer via bluetooth but NOT if you have an I-Phone as the bluetooth is not capable of linking with a Pogo. You would need to go via your computer's bluetooth or print or by using Pictbridge via your camera if it supports it. More information can be found on Amazon here.

Here I have printed via bluetooth from my mac a pretty little bird photo.

Some primula's that I photographed on my i-phone printed via my mac the quality is not bad at all!

Some other photos that I took with my I-phone and have printed via my mac, some funny painted eggs that I saw in Canary Wharf on my birthday, they were massive!

With I-Cloud all photos taken with my I-Phone are automatically transferred onto my Mac and PC so printing onto the Pogo is easy. It would be great for taking on holiday where you can take your photo, print it and put it into your Smash Book straight away!

Enjoy your weekend, we have the air show here this weekend so will be sitting in the garden having a bbq watching the planes fly past!

My tiny Chef

Hi all and welcome to my newest follower Crafty Nic, thanks for becoming a follower!

Since he was about six my little fella has said that he wants to be a chef when he is older. I think I may have posted about this before, luckily he has his fathers cooking skills and not mine so he may stand a chance to fulfil his dreams!

This page was perfect for a photo of the two fella's cooking together, hubby is a 'throw it in and see how it turns out' kind of cook and it always turns out good. I am a 'copy the recipe exactly' cook but sometimes its still hit and miss!

The page was created in Sheena Rowlands class at my last Scrapagogo Retreat, we used a set of cutlery and sprayed onto the paper using misting sprays to leave the impression of the cutlery.

We used cute little paper doilies and a bow for embellishment. I really enjoyed this class and it was lovely and relaxing!

I am having a lovely chill out day with my boys today as hubby is on an offsite in Paris. Have a great weekend all!

Viva Italia!

Happy Friday to you all and hello and thank you to my new followers!

I am really getting into my scrapbooking now and made this page last week. I really broke open some stash and decided that I cannot keep looking and stroking it all, its much better on a page than in a packet :-)

The papers are all K & Co Cara Marie paper pack and the embellishments are from the same range.

I used alot of embelishments!

I used a few of the stickers that came with the paper stack to make a 3d flower.

The photograph is from a side street in Cortona, Italy, the shops are all so prettily decorated and I love the colours on this one. They have the best ice cream shop, handbag shops, home accessories shop and restaurants. We always visit there when we are away.

Now I am really getting into my scrapping I am regularly visiting the UK Scrappers website for ideas and inspiration, there is so much talent out there! If you are a member please add me as a friend, I am currently friendless over there! My user name is Tracey White.

Have a wonderful week all!

Scrapbooking at Autumn Cottage

Sometimes it's hard to find the time to scrapbook at home and that's why I love going to Autumn Cottage on a Friday morning where there is nothing to do but relax, chat to lots of lovely ladies, and scrapbook!

Debbie at Becky Lou Memories runs lots of different classes from her wonderful craft studio overlooking the fields of Fambridge, click on her website here for more details.

She covers a wide range of crafts and is always on hand to offer advice and let you use her fantastic range of craft supplies.

Last week amongst the chatting, coffee and biscuits I made this page. I saw the layout on this blog here whilst browsing through Pinterest, my new hobby!

It's a really good way to use up your scraps of paper which is what I did here, with a bit of faux stitching to make it stand out a bit more, I was finished.

I can't wait to go back tomorrow!

Have a great weekend.

Craft Storage

I love pretty storage in my craft room and around the house you can find baskets galore all making the every day stuff look that little bit tidier or pretty!

I love this basket which I use to store some of my card and scrapbooking embelishments.

I looove embelishments!

This pretty heart shaped basket stores my embossing powders and glitters.

This wire vegetable rack stores other scrapbooking supplies.

I have organised the baskets into chip board elements, rub ons, stickers, and flowers.

How do you organised your craft goodies?

Have a great weekend!

Altered Book

I made this wonderful altered book at the Scrapagogo Retreat. The class was called First Edition and was run by Nicola Kerridge.

I decided to use a photo of my eldest when he was a baby, he is fourteen now and hates having his photo taken so I do not make as many scrapbook pages of him as I do my youngest.

We covered the book and distressed the edges to make it look worn and a bit vintage.

We used a metal embellishment and ribbon to decorate the front and I added some butterflies layered up with left over paper.

We were given a book to alter, we pulled out out alot of pages at the front and added a frame which we covered with the torn out pages. The inside of the front of the book was covered with paper and I added a huge photo of my son asleep on our bed when he was little. Yes is was a thumb sucker!

We then decorated a tag to insert into the book and I added a couple of butterflies to hold it snuggly in place.

A little note on the back of the tag, I wonder if he will ever read this?

I loved making this project and decorating it, the papers were gorgeous too!

I have a little home project in mind to use the left over paper which I will show you when I have finished if it turns out alright!

Hope you are having fun, where ever you are!
