Whats on Your Work Desk Wednesday!

Well another week has flown past and between looking after my friends horse and making my other friends son's Bar Mitzvah invitations I have not got a great deal done!

My youngest son finishes school for easter this Friday so for the next three weeks I won't be getting too much crafting done either!  The spring weather has made everyone more cheery here and we are planning lots of lovely day trips out to the farm and beach etc. I am really going to make the very most of him being 6 and still into that kind of thing because I know I will miss taking him when he is older and is no longer interested in that sort of thing!

WOYWW was created by the fantastic Julia at Stamping Ground take a visit and see what everyone else is up to. This is my workdesk today

Today I have been making some cards for my dear friend Liza, we have been friends since school and she has asked me to make several cards for her to give to friends and family. Therefore I have some lovely embellishments on my desk along with my buttefly punch and these .....

Some gorgeous Indian craft papers that I am going to put to good use. These are so cheap to buy in our local stationers and the colours and patterns are so pretty.

This week I also bought a wicker cutlery holder which I have used for tool storage on my desk....

I have a section for glue pens, one for rulers, another for scissors and tweezers and another for pens and pencils!  It sits just comfortably on my desk with my wicker basket that contains all of my adhesives.

This evening my friend Linzi and I are going to print off all the addresses onto envelopes for her invitations. I have aready run the envelopes though the printer and put a pale silver damask pattern on to make them look a bit special. No doubt we will have a couple of glasses of wine to see us through so it should be fun.

Have a lovely week and I look forward to seeing whats on your desk later!

Gorgeous goodies as always hun, love the wicker baskets, I've a weakness for buying them. I'm sure that cake stand would look much better in my bedroom looking after my goodies lol.
Enjoy the Easter hols hun, you are so right to make the most of the children as before you know it they'll be at the stage where they want mates not mummy's

Now that's the best way to round off a printing job, help and wine! Well done, it would have taken me more than a week! Your desk as usual, looks lovely to me. Planning to use some gems then? And may I be the first to admire your screensaver!

Your desk is busy, lots of bits to play with, I love your desktop background - lovely picture - puts you in the spring mood! Yes I think that you should take your boy out till he wants to go, because it will soon be over and all he will want to do is play on the computer and watch tv.

Must make time for the kiddo's, like you say, one day they'll want to be off on their own or with their mates. Love the new Indian paper, really pretty.
